20votes, 23 comments. I came across this review of the new Certina DS Action Diver 38mm on Monochrome and was really struck by the blue variant The Longines HydroConquest was an attractive option, and I may have picked it if they made the new ceramic bezel version in 39mm.

Ichose Longines solely because of powermatic 80 in the Certina. It’s about a year and I love it. The only problem I’ve had with my hydroconquest are the crown guards. It’s just

AndRD - you can't sell the glossy, ink black or sunbrush (blue/grey dials) of the Certina short either. If I was told I can have one or the other, I would choose the DS Action + money in my pocket, but both are very fine watches on many levels. The Longines is slightly higher-end, IMO (and should be for the cost differential).
